FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRIC WINDOWS WITH ANTI TRAP DEVICE

  • 1

Take care – some edges and corners of the deflector can be sharp. Please take care when removing from the box and fitting.

  • 2

Open the window completely. See picture 1.

  • 3

Lubricate the milled edge of the deflector with either a silicone spray or washing up fluid.

  • 4

At the mirror end of the window rest the bottom edge of the deflector on the hard rubber window seal. See picture 2a.

  • 5

If you place it on the soft part of the rubber the deflector will not hold under tension. See picture 2b.

  • 6

Push the other end of the deflector into the window channel – you may need to gently bend the deflector. See picture 3.

  • 7

Starting from the mirror end use both hands to ease the milled edge of the deflector into the rest of the window channel not between the rubber and the metal frame. See pictures 4 and 5.

  • 8

Close the window in several small steps – assist with your hand if need be. See picture 6.

  • 9

    Any problems please phone 020 8309 7744.

AFTER FITTING THE WIND DEFLECTORS ACCORDING TO THE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING POINTS

  • 1

Operate the electric window button and close the window gradually in several small steps. Please repeat this procedure at least five times.

  • 2

Then operate the electric window button and slowly close the window completely.

  • 3

After this please keep the door window closed for 24 hours so that the wind deflector is pressed into the rubber by the permanent pressure of the glass.

  • 4

After being closed for 24 hours the electric windows will work correctly.
